How to read this honestly
- Volume matters more than the average. A 5.0 from nine reviews tells you far less than a 4.9 from 260. Ours is a large sample by the standards of residential concrete.
- Four reviewers gave us one star. Three of those reviews were posted in August 2026. We address those reviews directly further down the page.
- We do not blend platforms into a single invented score. The 4.9 is the aggregate across our public profiles as reported by Trustindex, which pulls from Google and Yelp. We do not combine unrelated platform ratings into a single custom score.
- Every review quoted on this page is verbatim, with the reviewer’s name as it appears publicly and the date it was left. Reviews are quoted as published, with the reviewer’s name and date shown where available.

Stamped and decorative patios
Stamped patio
I had Cincinnati Custom Concrete do a stamped concrete patio for me and couldn’t be happier with how it turned out. Michael, the sales guy, was awesome to work with and made the whole process easy. Garrett, Shane, Elijah, and the whole crew did a great job. They were easy to work with, paid attention to the details, and really took their time to make sure everything looked right. The stamped concrete turned out great and is exactly what I was hoping for.

Porch, sidewalk and stamped patio
Shane, Tyler, and crew did a great job on our porch, sidewalk, and stamped concrete patio. They were very professional, easy to communicate with, and took pride in their work. They worked in a timely manner without sacrificing quality. I would definitely recommend them for any future concrete work.

Shane and crew did a great job on our new patio and front walk. It was a stamp job and they were very easy to communicate with and very professional. I would recommend them.

Patios, pool decks and driveways
Patio and pool deck
Shane and his crew were amazing! They were polite and professional and walked us through every step of the process to ensure we got exactly what we wanted. They all have an eye for detail and our patio and pool deck turned out perfect! They kept our backyard clean and went above and beyond to ensure the street where their machines were was spotless! Highly recommend CCC and will be using them again.

Driveway
Shane and entire crew were dedicated, knowledgeable, and hard working, and did a great and thorough job on the driveway, I would definitely recommend for any concrete work.

General concrete work
I couldn’t be happier with the work! From start to finish, Shane and the team was professional, reliable, and paid attention to every detail. The quality of the concrete work exceeded my expectations, and they kept the job site clean while finishing on time. If you’re looking for honest people who take pride in their work and deliver great results, I highly recommend this company.

Steps, walkways and process
Weather planning
Tommy and Crew were great! They were very communicative, made sure everything was to our liking, and went above and beyond to provide the best service. Even with the looming rain, they worked to get the work done and had plans in place to be sure the rain wouldn’t mess up our fresh concrete. Thank you so much Tommy and Crew

Front steps and sidewalk
I needed my front steps completely rebuilt & new front sidewalk. The job was completed quickly and in the timeframe I was quoted. Calvin is a great project manager and worked with me to fix a problem with the original job. When you are considering concrete work, definitely include them in your search.

Front steps rebuild
Tommy and his team did a great job redoing our front steps. Worked all day and got the demo and rebuild done. Looks great. Highly recommend.

Why we included a four-star review
Mary S. gave us four stars after an issue with the original job had to be corrected. We included her review because it shows both the problem and how it was handled. The project manager worked with her to resolve the issue, which is an important part of evaluating any contractor’s reviews.

How often people actually review us
A rating tells you what customers thought. Review recency can help show whether that feedback reflects the company’s current work. Some contractors may have strong average ratings built largely from older reviews, so it is worth checking how recent the feedback is.
In the 45 days to August 23, 2026, we received 20 public reviews. That is roughly one every two days, about 13 a month. Recent reviews are more likely to reflect the company’s current team, processes, and service standards.
We track this because it is a useful honesty check on ourselves, not because it is a ranking factor. Review recency may also matter for local search visibility, although Google does not publicly disclose the exact weight it gives this factor.
What to do with this: whoever you are considering, sort their reviews by newest rather than reading the default view. If the most recent reviews are much older, they may be less representative of the company’s current work.
Recent reviews often mention the team members who were on site. Customers sometimes name individual crew members, which can add useful context about their experience.
What customers consistently mention
Looking across the last 20 reviews, several themes come up repeatedly. The counts below are based on that sample.
Communication
Mentioned in 6 of the last 20. Customers repeatedly describe the crew as easy to reach and clear about what happens next. Brianna and Scott singled out having a plan in place for looming rain.
Attention to detail
Mentioned in 4 of the last 20, usually in the exact phrase "paid attention to the details" or "an eye for detail". It comes up most often on stamped and decorative work, where it matters most.
Timeliness
Mentioned in 4 of the last 20. Finishing inside the quoted window, and working through a full day to get demolition and rebuild done in one visit rather than leaving a site open.
Professionalism
Mentioned in 4 of the last 20. Polite, courteous, and willing to walk customers through each stage rather than working around them.
Site cleanliness
Mentioned in 3 of the last 20. One customer noted the crew made sure the street where the machines had been was spotless, not just the work area itself.
Taking pride in the work
Mentioned in 2 of the last 20 reviews, usually when customers were especially pleased with the finished result.
Customers name the crew
One pattern that stands out in recent reviews is how often customers mention individual team members by name. Across the last 20 reviews, customers named individual team members eleven separate times without being asked to.
- Shane is named in 11 of the last 20 reviews, more than anyone else, usually as “Shane and his crew”.
- Tommy is named for front step rebuilds and for having a rain contingency plan ready.
- Garrett, Elijah and Tyler are named as part of the finishing crews on stamped and decorative work.
- Calvin, a project manager, is named by a customer specifically for working with her to fix a problem on a completed job.
- Michael and Jake are named on the sales and response side, for making the process straightforward and answering questions.
When customers remember and mention individual team members by name, it can be a useful sign that the interaction stood out to them. It is a signal you can check on any contractor: read their reviews and see whether anyone is named at all.
Stamped and colored patio with an integrated fire pit. Decorative work is where crew skill separates most visibly.
The reviews that were not five stars
Four of our 260 reviews are one star, and three of those were left in August 2026. Here is what they were about, in plain terms. We are not going to ignore these reviews. Instead, we are summarizing what each customer reported and the main takeaway for someone considering similar work.
A utility line was cut
A customer reported that a crew working at his property dug in an area marked by the 811 call-before-you-dig service and cut his internet line. His review states the crew involved was a subcontractor rather than our own staff.
Why this one matters. Of the three, this is the criticism with the clearest lesson attached, because it concerns process rather than taste. Before work starts, it is reasonable to ask whether utility locating has been completed and whether the crew on site will be employees or subcontractors.
Cracking after two months
A customer reported that concrete began cracking and chipping around two months after it was poured, and considered the result worse than the surface it replaced.
Context, not a defense. Concrete cracks, and fine hairline cracking during curing is normal and usually cosmetic. Cracking or chipping that appears soon after installation deserves a closer look. Possible causes can vary, so the condition should be inspected before drawing conclusions.
Blotchy color on a stamped patio
A customer who paid for a decorative stamped patio with integral color described the finished color as noticeably blotchy and patchy rather than naturally varied, particularly around the steps, and was also unhappy with the finish where the new work met an existing fire pit.
Worth knowing before you buy decorative work. Integral color genuinely can vary, which is part of its appeal, but there is a real line between natural variation and a patchy result. Ask to see finished examples of the exact color and stamp in daylight before you commit.
WHAT TO DO WITH NEGATIVE REVIEWS
A negative review does not automatically tell you whether a contractor is a bad fit. Look at what the complaint was about, whether it relates to the type of project you are considering, and how the company responded.
Pay attention to patterns. One isolated complaint is different from the same issue appearing repeatedly across multiple recent reviews.
If one of the concerns above relates to your project, bring it up during the estimate. A clear answer can give you more useful information than the star rating alone.

Questions about our reviews
What is your actual rating and how many reviews do you have?
4.9 out of 5 from 260 public reviews as of August 25, 2026, aggregated across our public profiles by Trustindex, which pulls from Google and Yelp. The large majority sit on our Google Business Profile. At our last full count of the distribution, 250 of 259 categorized reviews were five-star, four were four-star, one was three-star, and four were one-star.
Do you have any bad reviews?
Yes. Four of our 260 reviews are one star, and three of those were left in August 2026. They concern a utility line cut during excavation at a property where the crew involved is described in the review as a subcontractor, concrete that began cracking and chipping about two months after pouring, and a stamped patio where the integral color came out blotchy rather than naturally varied. We describe all three on this page rather than hiding them, and you can read them in full on our public profiles.
Why should I believe a reviews page written by the company being reviewed?
You should not simply take our word for it, and we have tried to build the page so you do not have to. Every quoted review is verbatim, with the reviewer’s public name and the date. The full star distribution is published, including the one-star reviews. There is a live feed on this page that we cannot curate. And we link to the platforms so you can read the unedited versions. If any of that did not check out, it would be trivially easy to catch us.
How recent are these reviews?
Very. We received 20 public reviews in the 45 days leading up to August 23, 2026, which is roughly one every two days. Recency matters more than most people realize, because a good average built from reviews left years ago describes crews who may no longer work at the company. Whoever you are considering, sort their reviews by newest before you decide.
Do you offer incentives for reviews?
No. We ask customers whether they would be willing to share their experience once a project is finished, and that is the extent of it. Paying for reviews or offering something in exchange breaches the terms of every major platform and produces feedback that is worthless to you as a buyer anyway.
Customers keep naming specific crew members. Why does that matter?
Across the last 20 reviews, customers mentioned individual team members by name eleven times. Shane appears most often, along with Tommy, Garrett, Elijah, Tyler, Calvin, Michael, and Jake. When customers name specific crew members, it adds useful context to the review because it connects the feedback to the people who were actually involved in the project.
What should I actually look for when reading contractor reviews?
Four things. Volume over score, because a 5.0 from nine reviews means little. Recency, so sort by newest. The one- and two-star reviews specifically, because every contractor has a job that went wrong, and how they handled it predicts your experience better than the praise. And whether reviews describe the actual work in specific terms or just say “great job”, since the specific ones are far harder to manufacture.
Can I speak to a past customer?
Ask us when we quote. References are a reasonable request on a five-figure project, and we would rather you did your due diligence than leap. Bear in mind we cannot pass on anyone’s details without their permission first, so give us a little time to ask.
Where can I see photos of the work rather than just read about it?
The photographs on this site are of our own projects rather than stock imagery, and several reviews on this page relate directly to work of that kind. Our recent projects page carries more, and we are happy to show you finished examples of a specific finish and color before you commit, which is genuinely worth doing for any decorative work.
When was this page last checked?
August 25, 2026. The aggregate figures, the distribution, and the review counts were all read on that date. Review totals move constantly, so the live feed on this page will always be more current than the numbers written into the text around it.
Worked with us? Tell the truth.
Good or bad. A page like this is only worth anything if the reviews behind it are genuine, and that includes the ones we would rather not read. If we got something wrong on your project, we would rather hear it directly first, but either way we would rather have the honest version than a quiet one.
